    Hey guys,

I'm looking to incorporate more control of my Ultrix router on Dashboard custom panels. The only way I know how to do this is with RossTalk, and you can only fire salvos (as far as I know). Anyone know of a way to do simple routing on a custom panel without building a ton of macros on the Ultrix?

    Hi John,

Here is a simple way to control your Ultrix on DashBoard custom panels:

To start, make a button. Select Button, drag and drop it on your custom panel, and click Add to add a task to your button.

Then, you need to add your device. Click on the green + beside Devices & Parameters, and select Add Device from Basic Tree.

Select Ultrix from the list, then Ok.

Click on Ultrix in the tree and then open API under it, and select "take crosspoint"

You can then set your source and destination, as needed.

Level 1 is video, Level 2 is audio channel, etc.

You can also "recal salvo" from here the same way you would in RossTalk.

    Hi Anita,

This doesn't work for me... is there anything on the Ultrix that needs to be enabled for this to work? In Dashboard on the Ultrix I looked at Ultrix-5ru  > System Status  > System Log

    and am seeing...

buildroot user.err syslog: virtual int TslEthernet::connectToServer() connect error: Connection refused
