  • 1.  Timing a Crawl / Roll in Sequencer using Seconds

Does anyone know why the seconds box is in grey and can't be used in Sequencer, when you try to time a Roll/Crawl?
    Speed means nothing.
A credit roll/crawl for end credits has to be a specific time and running it through using speed and having to time it takes too long.
A credit roll can be timed using seconds in Layout, this is also not ideal as most things are played out in Sequencer.
    Thank you.

    Hi Helen,

I always do my credit rolls in Layout because of this very reason. I create a scene group, and add scenes for each credit. Then I drag the scene group into my sequencer and run it from there. True, it has to be updated in layout, but I've found over the past 10 years of doing this that it's not really an issue.
