Where are you seeing the video in the wrong place? If DashBoard Says it is controlling ME P/P then that is what it is controlling. What are you comparing it too visually to say that it is wrong?

Hi Les,
The engineer and I couldn't get this to work. It's okay though, I'm just redoing all my effects.
I'm having another problem. I don't know exactly where to look in the dashboard or if a setting needs to be changed. We are using a Carbonite Ultra.
When I go to Live Assist > Buses > ME in the dashboard, the ME P/P tab controls ME 1, and under the ME 1 tab, it controls ME P/P. They're backward.
Thank you.

That is the Linux virtual machine.
You need to now connect to it's IP address via DashBoard like you would a real switcher.

Hi Les. I'm so close but my memories are not transferring. Do I need to sign in to this or just be running?

This is an issue with your Bios on your computer having Virtualization disabled.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33304393/vt-x-is-disabled-in-the-bios-for-both-all-cpu-modes-verr-vmx-msr-all-vmx-disabl
I did a quick google search and that link offers suggestions on what settings to change to enable it.
excerpt from the link:
"
To run Oracle VM Virtual Box / VMware machines on 64-bit host there is a need to enable Virtualization Technology (VTx) and Virtualization Technology Directed I/O (VTd).
Usually these setting are disabled on the level of BIOS.
To enable VTx and VTd you have to change corresponding settings in the BIOS.
Here is an example how to do it for HP Compaq 8200 or similar PC:
- Start the machine.
- Press F10 to enter BIOS.
- Security-> System Security
- Enable Virtualization Technology (VTx) and Virtualization Technology Directed I/O (VTd).
- Save and restart the machine.

This thread will explain how to get usb show files into a TAR so that you could upload them to the Carbonite Black Frame Sim to do the export if you are not able to access a functioning Black frame any longer.
https://documentation.rossvideo.com/files/software/carbonite/carbonite-black-sim-15.6.1.19113.zip?_gl=1*11hoor1*_ga*NjA4NDkzOTcwLjE2MDQ2MTI0NTg.*_ga_H7SG1QNZ8K*MTcyMzU1NjM1NS4zOTEuMS4xNzIzNTU2MzYyLjUzLjAuMA..
Frame sim Can be downloaded from the downloads section with that link.
Also you need the Virtual Box environment to run it.

Hi,
In version 15.6 of Carbonite Black we introduced a feature to Export to Ultra so that you could then import the Memories and Custom Controls into an Ultra.
You can not just load them directly as they are different.

Hello,
We were using carbonite black and now we are using carbonite ultra. I loaded the switcher set to the Ultra and my memories are all gone. Do the memories transfer over from Black to Ultra? I see my custom controls but again when i call them up nothing happens. Just wondering if that transfers over as well. Thank you
