Hello all,

    got a query for you.

I am trying to make a copy of an existing project and copy across everything associated with it. This includes a dashboard and a bunch of files they have datalinqed. The error comes when I try to link to their excel sheets using the same technique they have (as an ADODB Datalinq source). When I try to set up the files in the same way, I get the following error message:

Failure: Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

I googled this and it said something about installing the following driver: DB2OLEDBV6_x64.msi. I did this and I still get the same problem.

I was wondering if anyone had an experience with this?

And yes, I do have office up to date and installed.

    Cheers

I had this issue and called ross earlier today. They were able to team view in, and fix the problem by downloading a file.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255 I needed the 32bit but it may vary for you.

I think it is this one now, looks like they deleted the page we had been referencing for years.
