Richard, thanks for your advice- that worked out. I created a small canvas with the jersey choice embedded. I can share this with my students now. Always trying to stay one step ahead of them!
Here's the page, probably one too many canvases but I shrunk the canvas with the actual keypad down a bit to make dragging & dropping easier.
Thanks!

Thanks so much- I have dragged & dropped most a page before, I was hoping to avoid having to delete a number of items, but your video helps. Thanks much!

You're correctly dragging each component however, all the data and functionality must be dragged to ensure parts of a panel work. I suspect dragging the keypad may help.
The pop ups that appear when dragging are attempting to reconnect the broken data or functionality for the dragged component.
When attempting to get all data and functionality I find it simpler to drag more than you need and delete whatever isn't required or doesn't break the function.

Subject: drag and drop from donor panel
I'm running dashboard 9.10, and have run into an issue dragging and dropping from donor panels. It's probably user error or something simple, but when I try to drag and drop from a working donor panel, the blank panel doesn't get the parameters or styles of certain buttons. For example, I can successfully drag & drop Rosstalk buttons, but trying to drag & drop the numeric input that displays on the jersey output fails. I also tried dragging and dropping the V or H choice, and if I pick "include parameter name" it only places the parameter name, VORH.
I'm not very experienced with Dashboard, any suggestions on what I'm missing?
Thanks
