Thanks Simon! I'd prefer to do it with Visual Logic. From what I can see I should have the String Value and String Match blocks, but I'm unsure what I would need from there.

I have clock device that outputs text to Datalinq via a RS-232 connection. I would like the text to disappear when the value is 0:00:00, but show whenever it is anything different. Is there a way I can do that?
