Facility Control

Hi there!

I work for a company called Tinkerlist. We build rundown-tools, to build your shows, and we also have a tool called 'Automator' (think Mosart ...) which loads that rundown in your control room, and can control your devices to play your rundown out. We integrate with all kinds of videomixers, audiomixers, playout devices, graphic engines, ... already. But now, Ross is on our list. We always aim to control such devices bi-directionally. It allows us to get states, know which kind of device we connect to, get timecode info, ... options become endless. We already do this for everything we integrated with (vMIX, Atem, GV AMPP, Tricaster/Vectar, VizEngine, OSC devices, all kinds of titlers, ... to name a few).

But, for Ross, everywhere I look I see we'll need to do this using OGP as a protocol. We already signed up to be a partner on the Opengear-site, but all docs there seem to be aimed at developing your own Dashboard panel. This is not what we want to do. We're wanting to build an OGP integration in our own software, which we've done for tons of tools already. So ... where do we find the docs to start doing that? We have a Carbonite Ultra plus some emulators lined up in the office, we just need some docs and pointers to get going. I also searched in the forums here, but besides some snippets of info, I think I didn't find such docs here?
