    Hey folks,

I have a 5 camera set up on my event space, and after we had a network update I've been having an issue getting with my AW-RP150 Panasonic CCU to switch each camera source into my waveform monitor and Camera Control Monitor. The CCU is sending information to Dashboard but it isn't switching the cameras in Ultrix. Apparently the GPI's are correct and Xpression Ross talk is enabled, but I just can't get the console's buttons to translate into ultrix. Has anyone had this issue before? Thank you so much in advance.

We are going to need screen shots of how you have this all setup.

I was not aware that the panasonic controllers can send RossTalk so I would want to see that configuration screen and then also Ultrix? or it's the switcher your trying to switch?  I ask because this is the production switcher section not the ultrix/router section.

In a separate conversation about RossTalk to Ultrix I have set that up today so do know that you can send GPI # and that will trigger Salvos in Ultrix.

Thank you for your reply, Les.

We use the CCU through our back up switcher (a one ME Carbonite switcher). Although the CCU is sending the command, it is not launching the salvo.

Ps.: would you prefer me to post this question on the Ultrix/router section?

    Thank you!

Ah .. I know what kind of space we are talking about now :)

In the connections page you should see if there is a RossTalk connection making it's way through.

Status page is so I know what version you are on.

Oh and also in system status there is a button for enabling protocols .. make sure RossTalk is enabled in there

I will check back in the morning but if it was working before a network upgrade an now it is not my worry is that the router is blocking it.

    Thank you Les,

Here are the screen shots of the System Status and Connections. From the IP address on Permitted Clients, Ross Talk is there.

I am not sure what to tell you.  probably need to log a ticket with support and look into why.  However a switcher sending the GPI trigger should fire a salvo.  If the only thing that changed was a network update then it is going to need more in depth look into the logs and why it's not triggering.

No worries, Les, thank you for your support nonetheless. I'll see if I can fix it internally and let you know how it went.
    Cheers
