Production Switchers

Hi all,

I have a 3ME Carbonite switcher. I am looking to have a visual timer represent how long we've remained on one source before cutting to another source. I'm stumped on how to make this happen. Is this possible?

There is no way to trigger a clock action reset on a transition based on the CUT or AUTO buttons / Fader.

What you could do is setup a RossTalk Device to send back to the Switcher RossTalk IN..

Then setup the Roll CLIP to send back a CC which in that CC you program the Timer RST command.

I would then Set the Personality Menu to make sure that the Roll Clip is Forced (otherwise the TD can turn it off and on using the Roll clip button)

Now in the Input menu Assign that RossTalk device to all the sources that you want to trigger this timer.  Now any time one of those sources goes to air it will trigger the timer reset
