  • 1.  Ultrascene Recall

    Hi all,

I've been playing in Ultrascene, mostly as a different way of doing double boxes (2-Ups as some call them) even though I have plenty of switcher space. But it's a fun feature. Except ...

I have 3 scenes, UltraScene 1, 2 and 3 and two panel inputs, Scene 1 and 2. US 1 and 2 are stored in Scene 1. US 3 is stored in Scene 2. When I call up any of the two stored in Scene 1, Scene 2 goes black. When I call up what is stored in Scene 2, it also recalls what is stored in US2, which is Scene 1.

I've gone through the manual and the instructions are pretty basic.

    Signed,

    Confused in San Francisco.

UltraScene recalls ALL of the Scenes and Configuration.

Because the UltraScene is able to change resources (ie you could put all 4 layer pairs on 1 scene) those are special Recalls.

If you don't want to change resources but only recall elements then you can use the regular Memory system.  those can not change the layer assignments between scenes -- so might work closer to  like how MiniMEs work in that sense.  If Layers that were part of the original memory store are not assigned then they just won't recall those parts.
