Correct - the Carbonite MV cannot follow destinations directly. But if an Aux is assigned to a destination (which is what you have done), then we can set the MV to follow the Aux, and indirectly follow the destination.

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your response.
I thought that may be the case.
In this instance I'm interested in monitoring the destination, not just the output of the Aux. I've shuffled my Aux assignment appropriately.
Confirming that the Carbonite MV cannot follow destinations?

Hi Dave,
That is correct - only Carbonite outputs 1-8 are available as PiPs to Ultriscape.
A workaround would be to use the Carbonite's multiviewer to monitor the Auxes.

Subject: Ultriscape Destination Follow
Hi,
I use an Ultrix Carbonite switcher/router.
I have set up some Destination Follows on the Ultriscape Multiview to follow outputs to various monitors.
When I send Aux 1-4 of the Carbonite to those monitors, I can see the output in the multiview.
However, when I send Aux 5-10 I cannot see the output in the mutliview.
In my setup, switcher aux 1-4 are outputs 5-8 of the switcher.
Is it a known limitation of Ultriscape that it can only see the first 8 outputs from the Carbonite? Or is there some other issue?
Thanks,
Dave
