  • 1.  Ultrix NIC Crash software 4.7.9

    Hello, we have 8 ultrix on our plant (4 1RU and more 4 2RU). In all these matrix there is a problem that the NIC sometimes freezes, and external devices cant connect anymore. I can't see any reason looking at the logs. The actual version is 4.7.9. Do you have the release notes for this version up to the most current one for me to read?

    This defect only happens sometimes, but I need to restart the matrix completely to resolve it. Attached is the LOG of the last failure, in UTC. Here is the last crash of 1 unit: 

    And here is historical data from the same unit. We have 3 events in last month:

    I have already tried the single and redundant NIC config.

    This is the moment that crashes the NIC (12:51 on UTC). Just what I see in the log are timeouts from external devices. I cant see anything related to hardware NIC.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Hi Mike! Yes, I have a ticket. I have already been advised about the update and I already have the files. We will schedule a date with our operations team. Thank you! I have already made other successful updates.
