# API for Scene Director Trigger

Is there a COM API method for creating/modifying Scene Director Triggers? I see quite a few methods for EventClips but these don’t seem to have the ability to trigger other directors.

I am trying to use the COM API to create scene director trigger clips in a scene director systematically. Specifically the type of clip pictured here where you can specify a director and an action. I use these to pause & resume animation directors during our “wipe in” scenes in our full screen graphics. I have a few hundred scenes I want to retrofit this onto across a few dozen projects and doing it via script felt like a faster path forward.

Wow!  
That’s quite a challenge you’ve set…!!! I’m afraid it can only be done manually… Unfortunately, as you saw in the COM API, you can only create `animclip`, `audioclip`, and `materialclip` objects.
