# User Variables on Carbonite Ultra 60

Hello! I am a TD for a show that uses a Carbonite Ultra 60. I am aware that Carbonite HyperMax has support for User Variables. Is this a feature that will make its way to the Carbonite Ultra 60? My showfile has a lot of custom controls that could be combined using User Variables. I know that I could achieve something similar right now with OGScript in a Dashboard panel, but if the network were to drop out, or the computer running Dashboard had issues I’d be out of luck for that show.

Custom Control Logic and Custom Control User Variables are coming to the entire Ultra / Ultra Solo / Ultra 60 and Ultrix Carbonite Family as well.

Soon with version 12.20 and many other great features. At this time the first week of November should see it on the download pages of the community.

Yes – All of the frames as listed above:

Ultra / Ultra Solo / Ultra 60 and Ultrix Carbonite will all be releasing with version 12.20

It will be a lot of new features and improvements.

Anything that is “software” (ie not limited by Hardware Resources) that has come with the v11/v12 releases that were HyperMax will make it into the other products.

ie – even Key Priority which was able to be implemented without having to make hardware changes will be in Ultra as well.
