  • 1.  AES AUDIO FROM MEDIA STORE CHANNELS

    Hi there.

We have a question related to AES audio out of the carbonite ultra.  We have loaded a clip with audio in the clip player and we have audio from the AES output to our yamaha audio console.  Then We have a media wipe loaded in a media store with a transition sound effect that is a wav file at 24 bit 48 kHz and we can see that the wipe animation has the audio attached but we do not get audio output over either of the aes outputs. the wav file is named exactly the same as the media wipe animation targa sequence and is in the same folder.  the media manager sees that there is audio attached to the animation.  the animation works correctly but we get no audio.  Any ideas as to what might have been missed?

    cheers

    Greg

There is a "clip player" and there is a "Media Store".  Can you please confirm which device you have it loaded in?  And which Channel it is in?

If you have the Audio Mixer you could also look at the audio meters to see if it is present there in the audio meters if assigned to a channel.

For the AES outputs which source do you have them assigned to?

    Hi Les.

    Sorry If that wasn't clear

We tested aes audio output w sound on clips in the clip player. We know there is audio out of aes.

What the question is - we have audio associated w animated media wipe loaded into a media store. When we play back the wipe we have no sound from aes.  The audio is wav at 24 bit at 48 K w the same file name as the tga sequence.

The point of playing out of the clip player was to test that we have aes out of carbonite.

    Thoughts?
    Cheers and many thanks
    Greg

Can you share a link like dropbox to the media files? I can try them here and see if there is anything I can look into.
