Subject: Feature Request: ogscript.getCurrentMachine()
Hi there,
The ogScript documentation cites a function called "getCurrentUser" which is supposed to retrieve either the machine name or the user login name depending or not on whether the User Rights Management Server is found. We don't have such a system present in our environment, but on a Windows PC running DashBoard this function seems to return the username of the logged-in Windows user account, which is definitely a handy thing to have...
In our environment, it would be pretty helpful if there was an accompanying function called "getCurrentMachine" that would be able to retrieve the machine hostname. I do see a "getApplicationPath" function as well as a "getBuild" function which return the DashBoard program directory and version, respectively. I feel like a "getCurrentMachine" function would be in the same category as these other existing functions.
Thanks for your consideration,
