HyperMax is seeing another release!
In January we released version 11.1 which included the following features:
Preprocessor Effects
The Preprocessor creates visual effects that can
be applied any 3D DVE channel. Any number of
preprocessor effects can be applied to the same
DVE channel.
• Ultrawide Defocus — adds a horizontal and
vertical blur to the image on the channel.
• Strobe — alternates between freezing and
playing the live video of the channel.
Key Auto Drop
The Key Auto Cut, or DSK Auto Drop, feature
sets whether or not the keys are cut off-air when
a source is selected directly on the background
bus of the control panel.
Key Auto Drop automatically cuts the selected
keys off-air when a source is selected directly
on the Background bus (hot punched) of the ME
or MiniME™ on the control panel.
Note: This feature only applies when a source is selected
directly on the control panel.
Media-Store Capture
Capture a still image ofthe video and alpha from
any bus on ME P/P using Media-Store channels
1 or 2.
MaxScene Source List
You can now view a table of all external video
sources being used by any MaxScene in the
switcher. This tells you how many input you are
using and allows you remove sources to make
room.
Version 11.2 is now available and adds even more while also delivering plenty of Bug Fixes!
64 Aux Buses
The number of aux buses available to the
switcher has been increased to 64.
Frame Redundancy
Two switchers can now be set up in a Sender
and Listener pair. The Sender is the primary
switcher for your production and the Listener
is the redundant or backup switcher. Both the
Sender and Listener should be configured
similarly with the same media assets. When an
action is performed on the primary switcher, it
sends that command to the redundant switcher.
If the primary switcher goes down, the
redundant switcher can be used to continue the
production.
3 HyperMax Switchers in the Same Frame
MaxConfig can now set up 3 independent
HyperMax switchers within the same Ultrix™
frame. Each switcher must have an SDPE blade
assigned as ME P/P. Additional blades can be
added or removed from each switcher as
required.
Looping Shift
Multiple shift buttons can now be replaced with
a single shift button that loops through all the
shifted buses. Press the looping shift button
repeatedly to go to the next shift bus until
coming back to the main bus. The loop
progresses through the shift buses in one
direction only.
Individual Bus Maps
Bus maps can now be assigned to individual
buses separately. This allows you to assign a
different map to a keyer bus than the
background/preset bus and Aux Buses.
Each Panel Connection (Main/Sat1/Sat2) have their own 16 bus maps and assignments.
