Summary of the major additions:
- Ultricore SVR: New high-performance, server-based Ultricore system controller delivering larger database and client capacity plus ample headroom for large systems and future growth.
- Flexible Licensing: Supported Ultrix software licenses can now be pooled using RPM Server and dynamically assigned across multiple Ultrix frames for improved license utilization in occasional-use, multi-frame scenarios.
- Ultrix-MOD-JXS: New JPEG XS sub-module for Ultrix-MODX-IO, providing up to four JPEG XS streams, TR-08 compliant.
- Ultrix-MOD-DPT Color Range Selection: Adds selectable Full and Limited output color range modes to meet the requirements of the connected display and ensure proper black and white level reproduction.
- Virtual Ports and Re-Entry: Create virtual destinations that reappear as routable sources, enabling operators to work with a consistent set of source names while engineering can dynamically reassign the underlying signals.
- Syslog Server Support: Ultrix / Ultricore can now forward alarms, events, and diagnostic messages to external syslog servers for centralized logging, longer retention, and simplified troubleshooting.
- Dynamic Alias Updates: External systems can now use Rosstalk as an API to update alias labels, allowing for fast adaptation to the needs of changing shows and workflows.
- Ultriscape Enhancements: Adds customizable colors for TSL-driven borders and UMDs, independent control of PiP UMD elements decoupled from the PiP's TSL ID, and HDR-capable rendering of graphic overlays for improved visualization on HDR displays.
- IPX Enhancements: Block Packing Mode (BPM) has been added to support receivers requiring this packetization; Video/ANC associations are now visible and can be edited to ensure ANC follows video as needed.
