  • 1.  Visca-control of focus

I don't find a specification of the implemented protocol on the ross-homepage.
I know about the Visca-protocol, but I don't know which of the commands are really in use and which parameter-range is valid.

Especially I've got problems controlling the focus directly:
Using the command 81 01 04 48 0p 0p 0p 0p FF leads to no change in focus (with autofocus disabled).
    Also the inquire-code 81 09 04 48 FF returns all the time only 90 50 0F 00 00 00 FF.

    Is there any more information?
    Thanks a lot
    Martin

    Hello Martin,

I've attached the full list of PIVOT-20 commands. I hope this helps!

Thanks a lot for the fast answer and the document!

But unfortunately I'm still not able to control the focus "directly":
Every "direct"-command has an information in the colum "Note" what specifies the valid range of the parameter. (i.e: Iris: pq: Iris Position 0~ 0x11).
This information is missing for the direct-focus (first page, second to last row).
    8x 01 04 48 0p 0q 0r 0s FF pqrs: Focus Position

Can anybody tell me the valid range for p, q, r and s?
Is there anything else I have to do except switching autofocus to off?

Is there maybe a firmware-update available?
    I'm using
    Arm: 1.3D
    FPGA: 5.0E
    Cam: 150602
    Release: 20171128

    Thanks
    Martin
