  • 1.  Issues with PivotCam-SE connectivity

    I have installed new PivotCam-SE's, and they were working fine for a day. I added control on Dashboard, and they had connectivity, and were able to be controlled. I tried adding them to my Carbonite Black Plus to control from there as well, and they are now all disconnected. I have tried re-inputting the camera in Dashboard (after deleting the connection on my Carbonite), deleting the cameras on Dashboard completely and re-installing it, and then deleting everything and trying to only control it on the Carbonite.

    Has anyone run into an issue? I also was able to see on the "Preview" tab on the actual IP address, but then I started losing control and I can still log in and move the camera from the IP address, but I can't see anything on the preview screen.

    HI there,

    You've stumbled upon a bug that we are actively working on with our software developers. A fix that will allow carbonite and the custom control panel to operate in harmony (as they always did in the past) is coming very soon. Right now the carbonite is sending a phantom command to the pivot which causes it to change its camera # and then disconnect. The work around at the moment is to keep them separate. Try using only the custom panel without carbonite control. We will have a software fix for this ASAP.
