  • 1.  Delay Embedded Audio to linup with Video

    I'm wondering if it is possible to have the Proc Amp delay the audio from MADI or Pass through SDI on and output to Match up the lip sync either in frame incriments, miliseconds or samples. I'm trying to avoid a separate Rack of Gear in and already crowded control room.

    There is no audio delay feature in Ultrix. You will need to add an openGear Card that supports the delay of audio.

    Hi Josh,

    Sorry for the delay on this, but as of Ultrix version 3.3 allows you to add up to 500MS of audio delay on input!  (Requires an Ulrisync license).

    At the time you asked however, this feature wasn't available. (3.30 was released November 2019)

    3.40 is the current software now.

    If you haven't already, I would happily help you out with the upgrade!
