Hi,

I was just wondering how other people drive touchdowns from RCP's for Camera Racks on an ultrix?

In the past I have used the Joystick in on Evertz router panels but the ultrix panels don't seem to have this?

Hi Kai,

If you are referring to triggering a crosspoint when pushing on a joystick it is possible to do this with Ultrix and an Ultritouch by adding in a GPI device into your solution.

The NK IPS https://www.rossvideo.com/routing-systems/nk-ips-network-bridge/ along with the NK GPI https://www.rossvideo.com/routing-systems/nk-gpi-general-purpose-interface/ can be configured to provide a crosspoint change upon GPI activation.

Once you have these devices you can program the NK-GPI to trigger a specific set of crosspoints on an ultrix based on which GPI is triggered. The Joystick would also have a GPI connection that would allow you to toggle between two GPI states (on and off)
