Does anyone know how to customize the NK-GPI using Dashboard, or otherwise?

I do not have an NK-IPS, but I'm told I can hook up the NK-GPI directly to our NK-3G16's second T-BUS port.

When I do this and try to use Walkabout in Dashboard, I find our RCP-ME but nothing else. I should also note that the NK-NET doesn't show it's connected in Dashboard, either.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi David,

Your NK-NET needs to be online for you to see any of your NK devices. The RCP-ME shows up as it is ethernet connected, but the rest of the equipment is all T-BUS and needs to go through the NK-NET to be configured and controlled. Once you get the NK-NET online, the rest of the T-BUS devices, including the NK-GPI, should appear in your Dashboard tree.

Is this a new install? Was the NK-NET ever online? Have you changed the IP address at all? Are there other devices in the chain beside the NK-3G16 and NK-GPI?

You may want to contact support to start a ticket. techsupport@rossvideo.com.

    Hope this helps.

    Joe,

    Thank you for the reply.

We've had the NK Router for a while now, but we haven't used it yet, so it's essentially a new install. I'm going to have to troubleshoot why it's not showing online as I wasn't the one who racked it.

Thanks again, and if I figure it out I'll post on here. If I can't, I'll open a ticket.

Joe, we had a port on our network switch that needed a kick in the butt, we're all good now. Thank you for the help, just knowing that the NK-NET needed to be online was great info.
