  • 1.  -1 FRAMEBUFFER ISSUE WITH XPRESSION MOS/REMOTE SEQUENCER

    Hello everyone.

I building XPRESSION tempates that will be built in ENPS and populated through a MOS SERVER. I have two XPRESSION machines, one configured for CG CHannels 1 and 2 and one for 3 and 4. The issue I keep having is even after building graphics in ENPS one pushed to the Remote Sequencer some graphics are being publihed on a -1 framebuffer, which crashed the Remote Sequencer because the number is out of range for the framebuffers it is looking for. Im not sure what i've done wrong or didn't do. Any suggestions would help greatly.

    Many thanks in advance!!

Also, the -1 framebuffer is showing up in the TAKE ITEM tab for delgating which frame buffer is default for the graphic. Even though I save some graphics as 1 or 2, when i open the project back up they are the TAKE ITEM is showing (-1 FRAMEBUFFER).

    Jeremy,

You're definitely going to want to bring this to Tech Support's attention. Even if you were, "doing something wrong" you probably still found a bug. Support will want to log this and see what's happening.

    Thanks,

    Chris

yeah, ive been troubleshooting and my proect is only configured for 4 Frame buffers. Yet -1 will still pop up on some Scenes and not on others.

The actual framebuffers a graphic will get sent to are controlled by the settings in the MOS gateway in the Virtual Channel Mapping. You might want to take a look in there to see if everything looks correctly configured; but as Chris said you'll probably want to contact Ross Tech support.
