    How do you ad a character limit to a paragraph that doesn't have a binding box behind it?

    In Tab&Options (with your text object selected), you'll find all options for that (Autosqueeze or wordwrap).

    Try them, and tell me if it's ok or not !

    I use autosqueeze & wordwrap all the time. But I want no more than 4 lines of text and to auto squeeze to fit on four lines. Still can't figure it out.
