  • 1.  XPression Studio and Gateway network Pings

    Are Ross XPression products able to ping other devices or is this disabled by default? I have a new Xpression Studio and a new Xpression Gatway Server in the building and surprisingly both devices can not ping other computers or respond to pings. I am trying to sort out if this is a problem with the computer hardware or if this is a problem with my network.

    The only major network related setting that is altered in the factory is disabling IPV6 on both NICs.

    You should definitely be able to ping.

    In that case the bug is in the network. Thanks for helping to restore my sanity.
