Is there any way to bring multiple images into the material manager rather than one at a time ? Seems kind of repetitive, to do this for each individual image, especially when there's a lot of them. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Terry,

You can select a bunch of images in Windows Explorer and drag/drop them onto the viewport of an empty scene. This will automatically import the material into the material manager (and create a quad in the scene with the material). You can then just delete the scene you dragged them into.

Note that images don't necessarily need to be added to the material manager to be used in a graphic. If these are for things like headshots or replaceable logo's etc, they can be assigned to a published image via the sequencer's template data section. There will be a tab called Image Files where you can assign any file on disk to the published object without it needing to be in the Material Manager first.

    Adding to Brian's comment.

You can also pin your material manger to the UI by clicking the little thumbtack icon in the upper right, this ensure that window stays open. Next drag multiple images or videos from windows explorer into the material manager and it will start generataing materials for you.

This will save you the step of deleting the objects in the scene afterwards.
