Hey Community!
We use Xpression to put pictures in a monitor on our set as well as taking them full to program. We have 50 scenes in our sequencer and each one is linked to a different picture file in the root Images folder. Picture files are labeled 101, 102, etc. Each day we replace the 50 "default" pics (placeholder templates) in the images folder with the pictures we are using for the day. They are labeled the same as the "default" pics so its just a replace in images and a flush of the texture cache to give us updated pictures each day without having to remake each sequence. After the show, we replace the show pics with the default pics and we are ready for the next day.
I found a way to attach a keyboard shortcut to flush the offline cache. (Flush is under tools) But the program will not allow me to assign Flush Texture Cache to a shortcut, which is the only one we need flushed everyday. Is there a way to flush both using a keyboard shortcut? Or just flush the texture cache? Ive looked in the manual and tried everything I know how to do. I wonder if the community has a better idea.
We typically have a producer with very little knowledge of xpression calling up pictures and I am just trying to make the process as streamlined as possible.
Thanks!
Tim
