  • 1.  DataLinq Server - Best encoding for CSV files

    Hi all,

    My organization and I are using CSV files as text databases through DataLinq server and was hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on the best encoding format to use when bringing these into DataLinq server? (Example: UTF-8, ANSCII, etc.)

    As far as I am aware It should not matter. Are you having some type of an issue with CSV files in a particular format?

    Yes, unfortunately when the CSV is exported it is jumbled and certain data is misorganized here and there. Which is strange because all of our other CSV exports have been flawless.

    What format were the good/bad CSV files in?

    Is it possible to continue to use the format of the CSV files that you have not had trouble with?
