    RogersTV has a track and field event coming up @ U of T varsity stadium

    Does the daktronics linq support track and field from the Dak Prostar system?

    Track and Field is not a sport that uses the Daktronics "TV Feeds" protocol which is what XPression currently interfaces to. At present the datalinq only supports the following sports from Daktronics:

    Baseball

    Basketball

    Football

    Hockey

    Soccer

    Volleyball

    Some track and field photofinish systems can push the data to character generators using CII commands. I have worked with this in the past using Finishlynx (the most popular photofinish system) and pushing the data to a Chyron. It has never been tried with an XPression but likely could be made to work. It does require the Finishlynx system to have a "ResultTV" option which most sites do not have..

    It is possible that the DakProstar system might also be able to send results using CII.
