Anybody know what the "Swap" key on the slash key of the numeric keypad on the Xpression Keyboard is for? Doesn't seem to do anything, can't find anything in the help index. Any chance it could be used to swap which framebuffer you're currently controlling?

For instance, if we have an animation with a series of holds (say a leaderboard reveal) that I'm playing out of framebuffer 2 but i want to jump back and load animations in FB1, and then return to FB2 to continue the leaderboard animation without having to re-enter the take ID first?

Rambling message, I know. Thanks for the input!

The slash key developp a group in sequencer view...

Try to drag'n'drop your scene from FB1 to FB2 in the list of layer on air.

    Ryan,

The swap key doesn't do anything currently.

If you want to resume a graphic on channel two without going back to it in the sequencer, you could create a keyboard shortcut that will resume something on a specific layer of a framebuffer.

This script will resume whatever graphic is on Layer 0 of Framebuffer 2:

    dim output as xpOutputFramebuffer

    dim takeitem as xpBaseTakeItem

    engine.GetOutputFramebuffer(1, output)

    output.GetTakeItemOnLayer(0, takeitem)

    takeitem.execute

In the keyboard mapping menu use the Script Action shortcut and use the sample script above. You can assign any keyboard hotkey to execute the script on demand. Since it sounds like you have the XPression custom keyboard, you could use one of the User Keys for this purpose.
