Is there documentation on how to set this up? We have templates made for Xpression, but I would like to get a jump on March elections and thought that someone mentioned there was some instructions for this.

There is no documentation specific to the Newsroom Solution Newsticker system specific to XPression.

However, technical support has set up this system several times in the past with success. I would recommend reaching out to them to get in contact with an XPression specialist.

At WREX, we use Newsroom Solutions and XPression, and have successfully for about 4 years, now.

We contacted NS and had them set up an .xml of our election data, which they created on our local server. We then used that .xml as a DataLinq source by using the RSS DataLinq type. Each race then has its own set of scenes for display. Some for full-screen with headshots, some as an on-camera overlay.

I know other stations have been able to use a variation of t-prompt and CII to push this info from NS to XPression, but I have not personally gone that route.
