  • 1.  error initializing 3d subsystem on Xpression startup

    I'm getting the following error when starting Xpression Studio 5.7 build 3064: error initializing 3d subsystem (failure: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL) Sounds like a direct 3d issue. This began after I installed a new graphics card ( nvidea GTX980 ti)

    Other relevant info:

    I can start Xpression Designer 5.7 build 3064 without any errors

    Issue resolved: Preferences/hardware renderer needed to be changed to recognize the new graphics card
