When I go to make a new font and edit the face to make it a different color, the color does not change. It only displays as white. In the Object inspector, the preview of the font shows the color change but it will not show on screen. And when trying to troubleshoot this, even fonts that were created a long time ago with a diiferent color do not display. They are only coming out white.

This just seemed to have happened recently.

Any ideas

By any chance is your viewport set to show you only the key (View->Channels->Key)?

Do you get colors for other materials, e.g. can you add a Quad and assign a red material to it?

The view is on Key + Fill. And I can change the colors for things like quads

That sounds like a strange problem...you should probably contact tech support.

Did you upgrade NVidia drivers or anything?
