    Hello,

Is there any possibility to use the Xpression Codec on an OSX operation systems (for example on After Effects)?

On the download section I only can find the PC version.

    Greetings

    Hi Harm,

The XPression codec is PC only. You'll have to use the XPression Video Coder (on a PC) to convert the videos from after affects to the XPression codec.

If you're videos have an alpha channel export using Quick Animation codec and if they don't have alpha export using Motion JPEG.

Just be aware, that Video Coder sometimes has trouble getting the correct duration for a QuickTime Animation (at least in my experience; it's really annoying).

    Hi James,

When you have a video with a bad duration, is it consistently wrong if you transcode it again? If it's easy to reproduce I would like to get a look at the particular video that shows the issue..

    Hi Brian,

In looking into this further, it turns out that Apple Motion is doing some strange things. I'll take it up with Apple Support. Sorry for the wrong info.

    James.
