We are proud possessors of a Carbonite 2 MLE switcher. Unfortunately it has no separately Custom-Control-Bus like a Vision-switcher, it has "only" a combined "Key / Aux / Custom Control"-Bus. This is not such a big deal, but we use GPI-trigger-macros to run clips. So our operators started to change the Key-source instead of playing back the clip, because they changed the transition-source to a Key during the show and these trigger-buttons "suddenly" changed their function. So It would be great, if we could lock this Bus to the desired Bus.

Is there such an option or is it possible to include it to the next upgrade?

Hi Patrick,

Yes In Version 6 we will have the ability to prevent the Bus from following based on the transition area. You will have to use the delegation buttons to change the row.

Sorry Patrick can't give you a date yet.

Dev is done and it is now into QA. there are a lot of features in this release so it is going to be a length cycle to get it released.
