  • 1.  NBA season is over for us, looking forward to next season

Last year was our first for the Xpression. We were able to make great strides. But now it's time to get started on next season. We use DTVI to feed scoreboard information to our Xpression. I want to explore animating scoreboard updates, perhaps by scrolling to the next value, animating to the next value, playing a transition as time outs change, etc. Is there a way to have Xpression play an effect that is triggered by any change in any data field from the DTVI?

    As always, thanks in advance.

Yes, you can script all that... When a data change, you can play an animcontroller in example... Look the SDK (help folder) where you'll find all you need !

I had a similar question to Malcolm in regards to data change either from a scoreboard or DashBoard.

First, does the OnChange function work for any type of data change?

I would like to have data change with a variety of transitions such as a dissolve or a scroll. Is there a simple example of using the animcontroller to add some of this flexibility to scorebugs?

    Hi Malcolm,

I saw the other thread with Brian's example, so you ended up using that?

We are doing something similar but I'm always interested in seeing new script.

    Thanks,

    Taylor

the only thing I changed was the animations. I moved the pivot points to either the top or the bottom and did a y scale so the incoming score squeezes the old one off the top.
