When we update our stats in game, the sequencer updates but the graphic will not update unless we hit enter.

We have the live update box checked.

Suggestions?

What type of data source?

Can you post/upload a copy of your scene in question?

Looks like you are on XPression 5.7 build 3064 from the screenshot?

Can you post a copy of the scene?

Are you talking about the info at the bottom of the screen of the scene?

A project file (.xpf) with your scene in it.

- New Project

- Import scene (File > Import > From Project

- Import one of the scenes that isn't updating on air

- File > Export Package

Upload that .xpp file to:

app.brickftp.com

User: Xpression

Password: rossvideo

Folder: XPression Projects

Just made a 30 second countdown widget. In the sequencer, it does the countdown. However, the output live on screen only shows 30. When we hit enter, it updates to the current countdown number.

By any chance are you using an XPression Designer with RossLinq connected to a Carbonite switcher?

Oh I totally missed that from this other post!

FYI - XPression Designer and the RossLinq connection to a Carbonite Switcher only allows for still graphics. Upgrading to Prime, BlueBox or Studio with an SDI framebuffer card is required for SDI video (motion graphics).

Man, don't know how I missed this.

In other words, the only way for us to update the on screen graphic is to hit enter each time. Basically send out a new still graphic each time, correct?

That's correct. You could make a keyboard shortcut to do it as well.
