My company just acquired Xpression a month or so ago and as of recently we are now really diving into Visual Logic. I checked out the one tutorial on Xpression U, but it was very basic and it didn't necessarily help me with getting started.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other literature or tutorials out there on Visual Logic that I could check out. How did everyone really get a grasp of the function?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Hi Anthony, there isn't any documentation for Visual Logic at the moment however why don't you explain what it is you want to do and I'm sure someone can help you out.

Hey Neil, thanks for the prompt response.

In regard to your inquiry, it's a little difficult to narrow down a precise task actually. Our company would like to do numerous things with Visual Logic in the future. The problem, simply put, is that I don't come from a programming background really so this is all a bit foreign territory at the moment. If there are any basic examples that someone could point me towards, or simply show me it would do wonders. Then I could reverse engineer the Logic to some extent and possibly be further along to understanding its hierarchy and functions.

For now, if it helps, I guess we could try a simple task such as this.

    The Goal:

    - Apply a script and or a logic command to an OBJECT.

    - The script/logic should allow it to move on and off the screen.

    - The script/logic should also allow it to fade on and off.

Again any help with this is truly appreciated.

i have a fairly simply tutorial on my site for scripting. goto www.wireframegroup.com then use the Guest loging info:

    user: Guest

    pass: passw0rd

then on the nav bar you will see "FREE TUTORIALS"

    click on "Scripting Material Copy"

I'll try to post more videos on my site shorty, but Ross's site should have some visual Scripting tutorials.
