Hello,

I am seeking help on how to build bar graphs on xpression. We don't need it to update live or anything, we would preset them during the show but is there a way to type in the numbers and have the bar adjust to that?

I've been reading other forums where they are made through datalinqs. Any ideas would help.

The easiest way to do this is using visual logic. You can use the text value of your text object and link it to the height or Y scale of a cube or quad object.

Hello Andrew,

I thought that could be the best option. Would you mind giving me an example of how to set up the value though? I don't have a lot of experience with the math function blocks, I know how to make a quad grow, or have objects move but I don't think I know how to set up the value.

This sample just sets the Y scale of the bars according to the values entered.. 100 would make the bar the maximum height..

Is there a guide (definitions) to the function blocks for the visual logic editor anywhere? I would love tho know what every function block does.
