The test projects for Xpresssion. I'm able to get the gaphics on our carbonite, but having issues playing anything that has motion. It just doesn't play. Would that be computer issue then?

Are you running XPression Designer (LiveCG) and using RossLinq outputs to send graphics to the Carbonite Media Store? If so, that setup only supports singe frames.

If you want motion XPression graphics you can contact your Ross Sales Rep to upgrade your LiveCG to XPression Prime for SDI video output, which will give you full motion graphics.

When we launched this product it was described in the Ordering Guide and also in the Line Item on the Quotes. When we started including this at no charge with all of the Carbonite and Carbonite Solo switchers it was also in the Press Release and Announcements

Another bonus for all Carbonite customers is that XPression Live CG software is now included with every Carbonite production switcher, providing the ability to design and push static graphics directly to Carbonite's MediaStores via Ethernet from a customer supplied Windows computer.

Carbonite Black Solo comes bundled with XPression Live CG software which provides the ability to create and push static graphics like lower thirds, over the shoulder boxes and slates directly into Solo's internal MediaStores via Ethernet from a customer supplied computer.


Also we released a Carbonite U Video for XPression LiveCG and how to setup and use it with Carbonite switchers and explain in detail how this edition works.

Only if you export them to PNG/TGA sequences from the Sequencer and then put them on the switcher USB and load them into the Media Store via DashBoard or the Panel.

No You would have to use the media manager in DashBoard to control it.

Output transitions are for SDI output channels only. LiveCG is a Designer license -- that allows you to build your shows if they were to be played out on a full Studio System. However on RossLinq your only getting a single Frame of Video (we use the Preview Frame to define that).
