I have to receive GPI from the switcher. So in my VB app, I do :



Dim WithEvents Xpression_Event As xpEngine

Private Sub GPI_Event(ByVal BoardID As Long, ByVal PinID As Long, ByVal PinState As Boolean) Handles Xpression_Event.OnGPI

But this do not work... Do you know why ?

Which type of GPI are you trying to receive? from the 10 gpi input Adrienne card, or for the serial port?

Can you get XPression to perform an action from that GPI by configuring it in the Keyboard/GPI Mapping menu?

I wrote a VB app a while ago that took GPI's, I'll see if I can find it..

I'm using it with the adrienne card. Everything is ok with the Keyboard/GPI Mapping menu, it works nice !

If you try to update any UI from the GPI Event you need to do it using a delegate, since the GPI Event may not be executed from the main thread.
