    Hey there

    Anyone have a script for a text object that sets a maximum character limit or when word wrap is enabled, scales the text to a maximum height?

    I'm updated to v5.5 if that matters to anyone. I've got basically 0 scripting background so any help would be huge!

    Mark your text field, and choose Edit Script Events (or press CTRL+SHIFT+E)

    Type in this line, followed by F7 (to verify the OnSetText script)

    text=left(text,20)

    in this case max length of characters is 20
