  • 1.  Best location for users to save OTS Images in an INEWS MOS Environment?

    I am working in an environment where journalist build all their own graphics in INEWS using the MOS Plugin. Where should users save new images for OTS graphics so they will appear in both the preview (from Blue Box) and on the Xpression Studio System for payout?

    Our Ross Tech suggested saving them on the Project Server (Blue Box) in the Project's Images folder that way they are copied to the Xpression Studio when we deploy before a show. The problem is that we are still building graphics at the start of the show and can't re-deploy while on air. Any suggestions?

    We use a mapped drive with ENPS, but we're running a dedicated Project Server and MOS Gateway that autodeploy the rundown to both the Studio box and the BlueBox. We make changes/additions during shows all the time.

    A mapped drive is the correct way to do this.. All machines (preview engine, journalist PC's, and studio engines) should have the same drive mapped as the same drive letter.
