Long Story: We were using Chyron Xclyps as our clip player for many years and have now moved to Ross Clips. Xcylps had the option to add a one frame indicator slide at the front of any clip. This slide was basically just a white number on the fill channel with a completely transparent alpha. This was helpful because you could cue up something like a transition effect that wipes on and off the screen, and see in a multiviewer the white number indicating a specific clip was loaded, but since it had a transparent alpha, it wouldn't show up on the output when you keyed the effect in before running it.
Right now, the only option I can come up with to achieve something similar is to add a 1 frame slate at the top of each effect and put a 1 frame delay on the macro in the switcher that keys the clip player in.
Any thoughts?
