  • 1.  Using ROSSTALK on Xpression CG

    Hi,

    I new to Xpression CG.

I'm running a marco on Acuity Switcher to trigger Xpression CG to run an event (audio wave file) on the sequencer. I have set the layer for that event to 50 whilst the normal events run by the CG operator are layer 0.

The problem I'm facing is that when I run my event from ROSSTALK, the sequencer will jump to the line of that event which interrupts the CG operator when he's in the middle of doing something on the sequencer.

Is there any way to lock the line on the sequencer so that it doesn't auto jump?

    cheers,

    Patrick

It depends which Rosstalk command you are sending. The SEQI command will move the sequencer's focus to the recalled item. The TAKE command does not move the focus. Check to see if the Acuity can send the TAKE command instead of the SEQI command.
