So we're in the process of updating our Xpression System from version 4.1 to 6. We have a design computer that has already been updated (I've tested my old templates/scenes and they seem to work fine.), but we also have a MOS Gateway computer with the old 4.1 Gateway software and old 4.1 Bluebox software on it and of course, we also have the "playout" Xpression computer with Xpression Studio v4.1 still on it. We also have ENPS plug-ins that I assume need updating as well.
A Ross support rep gave me the Studio v6 software and the "mos plug-in" v6 software (which I assume is the ENPS plug-in?), but the rep was not able to provide me with any addition information.
So does the "Studio v6" installation file have everything I need? Will it also update the Xpression CII Gateway that we have running on the "playout" computer?
And is there a separate installation file that I need for the MOS Gateway computer? Or should I just install that "Studio v6" .exe file on there as well? Will that update the Xpression MOS Gateway and the Xpression Bluebox Preview Engine?
