  • 1.  Pause effecting audio track

We have a scene (a tease bumper type thing) that animates in, then has a headline, a pause, then a second headline, then animates off. There is an audio clip that runs with it. When it reaches the pause control, it acts like it pauses the audio track also. When it is played, the animation controller works as it should, but we're also hearing the very tail end of the audio.

Any ideas on what's going on?

I take it the audio track is placed in the scene director? The pause you have has to be after the audio playout (I assume). And if I am oversimplifying this forgive me.

The pause will pause the entire scene director, including the audio tracks..

If you want the audio track to continue to play, you will need to move the audio into a different scene director.

You can use a visual logic block to start the second scene director playing when the scene goes on-air.

Thanks Brian, I thought I had an idea how to make the logic work, but apparently I don't.

    What would that look like?

    Thanks!

Just connect the OnPlay event of your main scene director to the "Play" action of the audio scene director..
