Hey guys I have a question. I'm experiencing difficulty trying to get my images in the "image files tab". Windows is set to always display thumbnails. When I go into other computer folders the thumbnails are there except in Xpression. Is there a way to fix this?

what is your default viewer set to for PNG images? Ex. Windows Photo Viewer, Photoshop, etc...

In Windows Explorer, I clicked Tools, Folder options, went to the View tab, expanded Files and Folders and removed the check mark from Always show icons, never thumbnails.

We have Windows Photo Viewer as well as I've removed the check from "always show icons, never thumbnails". For some reason it's still happening.

Is this running on Hardware purchased from Ross Video, or your own hardware platform? Does it do it for all file types, or just PNGs?

The only thing I can think of that might cause this would be an issue with file permissions or running under a non-admin account. XPression generates and saves the thumbnails for those files to a local cache. If for some reason XPression couldn't save the file to the cache then perhaps the icons would show instead of the thumbnails.
