    Hi all,

Another post: how do I go about setting up a project server and what is needed to do so? This seems to be a coveted feature for me. Can someone list out the steps, preferably with screenshots?

    Hi Hunter,

Are you setting your project server up in an XPression MOS workflow?

You can get the XPression Project server user guide from the Workflow Tools XPression CD that ships in every XPression software box.

You can also download it here:

I've read the guide but I still have questions, such as, does this allow us to build while another operator is shooting? If I can make this work, I have to use one of our all purpose file servers, and I don't want to compromise our servers and need automatic folders to be made as well. The guide leaves a lot of my questions unanswered.

    Hi Hunter,

You can upload projects to the Project Server when any number of XPression engines is connected to it.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about using a file server and automatic folders.

If you have technical questions about Ross products they should be directed towards techsupport@rossvideo.com. The forum is not monitored by the Technical Support team.

Hi @garner thanks for your last comment, can you repost the link to that Project Server User Guide?
